The Visit of Libyan Civil Society Organizations Initiative Group to ORSAM

Libyan Civil Society Organizations Initiative Group represented by 12 delegates from Libyan civil society organizations visited ORSAM on 11 March 2013. Oın behalf of Libyan Civil Society Organizations Initiative Group, Fawzi Bashir Mohamed, Beshir Sadık, Muhammed Hasan, Abderrahman Aribi, Abdel Hakim Idris Said, Leyla Isa, Omar Mustafa, Bahia Alaminkanoun, Salah Belkher, Omar Huseyin, Marei Ahmed and Farouk Juma Sharif participated to meeting.

In order to increase the capacity of civil society organizations which are vital for reconstruction and destabilization of socio-politic units of Libya and to contribute this process, ORSAM visit was held as a part of serious visits in Turkey for creating a project which aims to establish a coordination institution. Hence in the meeting the organization scheme of ORSAM, its missions, visions and experience were discussed. The meeting that of the opinions and observations on developing the civil society organizations in Libya was finished with the wishes of establishing closer cooperation among the parties.
