ORSAM AND BILKENT UNIVERSITY JOINT MEETING: “KAZAKHSTAN AT THE 20TH ANNIVERSIRY OF ITS INDEPEDENCE AND ITS RELATIONS WITH TURKEY”

ORSAM and Bilkent University held a closed joint meeting on November 22, 2011 in Ankara on the issue of “Kazakhstan at the 20th anniversary of its independence and its relations with Turkey”. Having participants from various universities and diverse institutions, the meeting was opened with the speech of Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara Canseyit. After the speech of His Excellency Ambassador, lecturer in the Bilkent University Hasan Ali Karasar made gave the opening statements. In the meeting, ORSAM Director Hasan Kanbolat, Dr. Konuralp Ercilasun (Gazi University), Dr. Meryem Hakim (Izmir University), Dr. Togrul Ismail (Economy and Technology University), Dr. Anar Somuncuoglu (Hacettepe University), Dr. Tasansu Turker (Ankara University) ve Dr. Omer Kocaman (Ankara University) made presentations.

In the meeting, exchange of ideas were made on opportunities of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey and on regional issues and developments.
