On Friday, November 11, 2016, a conference entitled “Use of Social Media by Terror Organizations: The Case of ISIS” was organized by the Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies (ORSAM). In the conference, it was emphasized how ISIS makes use of social media and what kind of propaganda it makes through Konstantiniyye magazine as well as the propagandas of ISIS sympathizers on the social media and the structure of social networks, the religious fundamentals of ISIS propaganda, ISIS’ media strategy and the religious references in the discourse of DAESH.
