Halil İbrahim Yenigün
Halil İbrahim Yenigün is an assistant professor of political theory in the Political Science & International Relations department at Istanbul Commerce University. He received his Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Virginia’s (UVA) political theory program. He spent the 2007-2008 academic year as a Malone & Gallatin research fellow in the Middle Eastern Studies Center at American University in Cairo (AUC). Yenigün has published articles, book reviews, and opinion pieces in journals such as İnsan ve Toplum (People & Society), Divan, The Virginia Quarterly Review (VQR), and AJISS. He gave interviews to several magazines and newspapers in Turkey about the contemporary Muslim political thought. Yenigun also serves as a founding member and general coordinator at Istanbul Think-house (Istanbul Düşünce Evi- IDE) and foreign relations committee coordinator at MAZLUMDER Human Rights Association.
